A new perspective. A next step.

You don’t have
to stay stuck.

The patterns that brought you here don’t have to decide where you go next.

Stuck No More by Robert A. Tango, PhD, invites you to look at your memories, your choices, and your possibilities a little differently.

A thoughtful read. A practical place to begin.

Inside the book

A different way
to see what’s possible.

Ten fictional students. One classroom. Questions that reach far beyond it.

Follow a class as its students explore what keeps them stuck—and what it could mean to move forward. Their conversations make room for reflection on your own life.

01Unpacking: start with one situation

Choose one manageable concern. Make a few notes about what you remember, what you felt, and what you needed. Uncertainty can remain in your notes.

02Linking: explore a picture

Use one of the book’s illustrated Doer Cards to connect details in a picture with your own experience. John’s classroom example shows how the practice can work.

03Visioning: imagine a possible response

Picture a possible way forward, or describe it in words. The exercise explores what you might try, with room for your needs, resources, and support.

04Writing: make a reminder you can use

Turn your reflection into a short personal affirmation and a possible next action. Return to it at your own pace, and revise it as you learn.
